Recipe: Earl Grey Oatmeal

YOU GUYS – why haven’t I been cooking my oats in tea my entire life? (Shoutout @heatherraeyoung for giving me this idea!) It literally melts in your mouth it’s so good !! And it’s so dense that it keeps me super full until lunch… ✨⠀

Ingredients:

(2 servings)

  • 2 cups plant milk
  • 1 earl grey tea bag
  • 1 cup oats
  • Cinnamon, to taste
  • Pumpkin pie spice, to taste
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp raw almond butter
  • Goji berries (optional)
  • Coconut shreds – unsweetened (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Bring 2 cups of plant milk and one organic earl grey tea bag to a simmer (add cinnamon and pumpkin spice to taste)
  2. Add 1 cup gluten free oats, stir (keep tea bag in pot)
  3. Add 1 tsp coconut oil & 1 tbsp raw almond butter, stir in
  4. Once oats are soft, add to bowl, and top with whatever you like (i added goji berries, coconut shreds, and a little more cashew milk). 
  5. ENJOY! Your (breakfast) life will be forever changed …
