My new Sunday skincare routine – (NOT sponsored 🙃)!

You guys know I’m constantly perfecting my skincare routine but this one is specifically what I do on Sundays.

It goes something like this:

  1. cleanse

  2. serum

  3. microneedling

  4. serum

  5. LED mask. (helps stimulate collagen 👶🏻)

Quick review on Microneedling:

The process involves fine needles that puncture the skin at various depths to create a controlled skin injury. Each puncture creates a channel that stimulates the release of growth factors, then these growth factors stimulate the formation of new blood vessels that help boost circulation and form new collagen. Collagen is known to reduce wrinkles, keep your joints strong and flexible, support strong bones, and increase skin hydration.

I prefer this device over dermarolling! Simply because it’s very controlled. The way the needle twists onto the device only allows a certain depth of the needle to touch your skin. Also, the needles come in individual sterile packs, one-time use only. Super important to keep things sterile when you’re puncturing your skin. I would recommend getting microneedling done once every four weeks!
